Opportunity
We are looking for individuals to join our Building and Infrastructure Programme Centre where you will work with multi-disciplinary teams in DSTA to shape and enhance the capabilities of our defence facilities to support MINDEF/SAF operational needs.
This role will require you to:
- Lead requirements definition workshops with the SAF/MINDEF for workspace enhancement projects and translate the requirements to building specifications for implementation
- Plan and manage renovations, additions and alterations to building works, and extensions and enhancements to existing utility infrastructure
- Plan and schedule buildings works with consideration for SAF/MINDEF ongoing operational requirements
- Administer procurement processes, including tenders for best sourcing and establish contracts for building works, process purchase orders and perform quality checks and good acceptance
- Provide support in the planning and management of the annual budget
- Conduct regular updates to the SAF/MINDEF for building works progress and coordinate anticipated works
- Familiar with policies and governance on workplace safety and health
Requirements
- Diploma in Building Services, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Relevant experience of at least 3 years is preferable
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong team player
