Opportunity

We are looking for an individual to join our Asset/Event Management team. The role will require you to:

  • Lead the assets management team in the management of DSTA assets and MINDEF project assets.
  • Formulate policies and operational plans for effective and efficient asset management, while ensuring that the processes are in compliance with governance requirements.
  • Drive the review of policies/guidelines and re-design work to meet changing requirements.
  • As the Business Process Owner of assets management, lead in the planning and management of end-to-end work processes to ensure full assets accountability
  • Track compliance by DSTA staff with reference to asset management policies, systems and processes by conducting annual asset verification exercises and adhoc review of asset records in the systems.
  • Promulgate and manage the communication and implementation of new policies, guidelines, processes and system enhancements to all DSTA staff concerned to ensure seamless transition and compliance to revised policies, guidelines and processes.
  • Analyse data on asset to identify anomalies and performance of asset management team. 
  • Drive the review for the purchase, repair and maintenance plans of office equipment and furniture to ensure offices are well-equipped and meet DSTA and all staff needs.
  • Review the requirements and state of technology to adjust the provisioning guidelines to meet the changing needs office equipment, furniture and consumables.
  • Analyse data on performance and usage of office equipment, furniture, printing papers and toners to develop operation plans for provision of effective and uninterrupted essential services/supplies.

 

Requirements

  • Tertiary Qualification
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Min 6 years of managerial experience in corporate services or related areas. 
  • Knowledge of Government Procurement Policies, Finance Guidelines, and Policies on asset management
  • Good leadership and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis applications
